Leadership Team

Christian and Michelle Suarez

Christian & Michelle Suarez

We met at the very end of our senior year of college, right before Christian joined the US Marine Corps. We got married in between his deployments to Iraq, and transitioned to civilian life shortly after our oldest daughter was born. After several moves and being blessed with eight children, we are happy to call Huntersville home. We became parishioners at St. Mark in 2016. We feel strongly about the importance of community in raising our children in the Catholic faith and are grateful for the opportunity to support the families at St. Mark.

Chris & Kelly Fernandez

We’re a family of five who took a leap of faith and moved from Colorado to Huntersville in August 2023. Since then, St. Mark has embraced us with such a welcoming spirit, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to give back by sharing our passion for family and faith. With a strong commitment to nurturing family values, supporting our children’s spiritual growth, and walking alongside other families, we see the family ministry as a meaningful way to serve. It’s our hope to make a positive impact in the community through love, faith, and connection.
