A Parish-Wide Relationship Health Assessment

At St. Mark , we believe that healthy relationships are at the heart of a thriving parish. Marriage, family life, friendships, and community are not only personal gifts; they are essential to the life and mission of the Church.

In response to the needs of our time, St. Mark is partnering with Communio, a nonprofit ministry that helps parishes renew relationships, marriages, and family life as a powerful form of evangelization. Together, we are prayerfully discerning how to strengthen connection, accompaniment, and relational health in our parish over the coming years.
 
What’s Ahead for Our Parish
In the months to come, you will begin to see new and enhanced opportunities at St. Mark, including:
  • · Strengthening existing ministries and offering new gatherings that foster community, friendship, and belonging within the parish and beyond
  • · Intentional outreach through digital and mailed communication to welcome those who may feel disconnected from parish life
  • · New, skills-based relationship ministries designed to support people at every stage of life—single, dating, engaged, or married
 
Before launching these initiatives, our parish staff seeks to better understand the real relationship needs within our parish community.
 

How You Can Help:

All parishioners 18 years and older are invited to participate in a brief Relationship Health Assessment.
The survey questions were developed by academic experts in relationship health and education.
Your responses are confidential and will help guide the parish in choosing meaningful events, ministries, and supports for the months and years ahead.
