6th - 7th Grade
EDGE
Our EDGE Program serves our 6th and 7th Grade Faith Formation Students. 7th grade is required to receive the
Sacrament of Confirmation in 8th grade.
- EDGE follows the curriculum from Life Teen
- It is a small-group based program that allows students to relate what they are learning to their life, get their questions answered, and experience Jesus!
Confirmation
Our Confirmation program, per the Diocese of Charlotte, requires one year of Faith Formation prior to their
Sacramental year (8th Grade).
The "prior year of Faith Formation" requirement can be fulfilled by attending EDGE in the 7th grade year.
Our Confirmation dates come directly from the Bishop, and we advertise those dates as soon as we have them.
This program requires 2 retreats:
- Confirmation Welcome Retreat (September 22nd-23rd)
- Confirmation Mid-Year Retreat (February 24th OR March 16th)
We are praying this format offers families more freedom to grow in the faith together!
