Young at Heart: Service

Young at Heart: Service

Our Lord teaches us in Matthew, chapter 22, the two greatest commandments: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, and Love your neighbor as yourself." Filled with the love of Christ, we serve our elderly community members and their caregivers in many diverse ways. In our programs, we help all keep Christ at the center of all we do. Our love of those who are advanced in age is a way that Christ has taught us to love all with his heart.

Alzheimer's Caregiver/Family Support Ministry

St. Mark offers a monthly support group in partnership with the Alzheimer's Association. The group meets the first Monday of each month.

These monthly meetings are for the caregivers and family members of people with Alzheimer's.  The support group provides much-needed emotional support and information in an environment of trust where the challenges of life can be comfortably shared.
