Lenten Mass Part Changes

Mass Changes During Lent

During the season of Lent, you will notice several changes to the Mass — the vestments are purple, there are no flowers in the sanctuary, no weddings and the altar bells are replaced with a wooden clacker.

Another big change is the music: you will not hear Gloria or Alleluia until Easter.  The new music selections can be found in the back of the hymnal.

Listen here for the new Mass parts for the Gospel Acclamation (replaces the Alleluia,) Sanctus (Holy Holy Holy,) Amen, When We Eat this Bread, and  Agnus Dei (Lamb of God).
