Saint Mark VBS Code of Conduct
In order to promote a fun, holy, and wholesome environment for all the children, youth and adults who are participating in the Saint Mark Vacation Bible School, the following guidelines have been put in place. This will be a fun event where you will be in contact with many children, who will look up to you as role models and many adults who will need your assistance. We hope that everyone involved will enjoy their time serving at VBS. This, we want you to be aware of our expectations of all of our youth volunteers.
The following rules must be followed at all times:
1. Youth volunteers are expected to participate in VBS and not leave the premises, unless accompanied by an adult leader, parent, or legal guardian.
2. Youth volunteers will be respectful of the adults who are supervising them and heed their directions.
3. No person is allowed to physically hurt or put in danger any child, youth, or adult.
4. No foul or offensive language is allowed.
5. No possession or use of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or weapons of any kind.
6. No public displays of affection.
7. All clothing must be modest and appropriate.
8. Damage to or defacing of property will be the financial responsibility of the participants involved and the participant's parents/legal guardians.
9. Phones will remain in the owners pocket for the duration of camp. No photos will be taken of participants. Phone will not be used during the camp day.
Consequences: Any youth not following these rules will be given a verbal warning. If repeated a second time, the youth will be brought to the director for counseling. If the offense warrants immediate removal, that action will be taken. The youth's parents will be notified, and the youth will not be allowed to return to VBS.
If you agree to this Code of Conduct, please enter your full name below.
