St Mark Catholic Preschool was founded in 2001 to serve the educational and spiritual needs of St. Mark Parish Preschool children. It is our hope to provide a warm and loving atmosphere within a safe environment for our children where they can grow spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally.
We hope our families will become actively involved as we work together to provide many opportunities for our children to learn through play.

Through Baptism the seeds of the Catholic faith have been planted in our little ones. Let us continue this journey together as they grow in the love and grace of the Lord.

Our preschool is administered by a director who is responsible for the day to day operations of the school. Our teachers are qualified and dedicated and work together to plan activities both religious and secular in nature. The program offers the children many and varied Kindergarten readiness skill building opportunities. Classes follow a daily schedule which includes circle time, free play, craft time, storytime, music and movement, snack and outdoor play.

Programs Offered & Eligibility

2 and 3 day three year old programs T/Th or M/W/F (must be 3 by Oct. 16 potty trained)
3 and 4 day four year old programs M/W/F or T/W/Th/F (must be 4 by Oct. 16 and potty trained)
5 day older 4/5 year olds M/T/W/Th/F (must turn 5 between June 1 and Dec. 31)

Programs run September thru May - 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

Tuition & Fees

There are no discounts for multiple children
2 day program: $115 per month
3 day program: $160 per month
4 day program: $205 per month
5 day program: $250 per month

Registration Fee: $50 for 1 child or 2 children; $75 for 3 children. Non-refundable, under all circumstances.

Supply fee: $25. per child yearly (payable by September 1)

All classes are currently full with waiting lists for the 2007-08 school year.Place your child's name on the Waiting List by printing out the Enrollment Form below. Mail it along with the Registration fee to the preschool. You will be notified if an opening occurs.
 
REGISTRATION FOR THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR 2008-09 will be held for eligible preschool age children currently enrolled and for alumni families' eligible children from January 15-31. Registration will be held for eligible preschool age children of St. Mark parishioners from February 1-14.

Enrollment in St. Mark Preschool does not offer priority placement or acceptance into St. Mark Elementary School Kindergarten.  All eligible children must apply for admission to Kindergarten through the Mecklenburg Area Catholic Schools (MACS) office, through the Diocese of Charlotte.
