Adult Choir
The St. Mark Choir practices on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm and sings
at the 8:30 am Mass on Sunday. This ensemble is 25 members strong and
sings our traditional Latin chants, traditional hymns and contemporary
music. No prior experience necessary—just come willing to LEARN!
Children’s
Choir
There are two children’s choirs . Practice times are 3-3:45 Wed
and 4-4:45 Wed alternating. It is for grades 2 and up! The children
sing at the new FAMILY
MASS at 10:00 am. See Laura for details!
PSALM
150 (The Life Teen band)
Psalm 150 is an adult band that provides music for the Life Teen Mass
Sunday evenings at 5:30 pm and other events for the LifeTeen program.
The band is
currently made
up of bass, guitar, keyboard, drums, flute, and singers. Practice time is
Tuesday at 7 :00 pm This is the only “audition” group
at St. Mark. We have openings so contact Laura if interested.
Current needs include DRUMMER and male vocalist.
Knights
of Columbus Choir
If you are a Knight, please join the Knight’s choir. Practice is before
the Knight’s meeting the first Monday of the month at 6:30 pm. and
this group sings at one Mass per month. Contact Laura.
You can participate in Music Ministry without joining one of these groups! The 5:30 Saturday Mass and 12:00 pm Sunday Mass need more cantors and instrumentalists! See me if you are interested in participating in Music Ministry!
