Corporal Works of Mercy

Saint Mark is focusing on Corporal Works of Mercy, in order to Serve One Another, and Share Our Gifts.

We will be supporting the following Outreach Ministries with collections.  Donated items can be placed in the wooden box in the Narthex.

Coat, Blanket, Toy Drive October 28-29 Collection
October 30 Distribution
Please bring your gently used coats, blankets, and toys for our Coat, Blanket and Toy drive.  Items will be collected on October 28-29, and distributed to the community on October 30.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

October 28-29 bag distribution November 4-5, 20-22 Collection, November 15 Distribution 

Thanksgiving food items will be collected on November 4-5, and 11-12.  Items will be sorted on November 12, and distributed to needy families in our parish on November 15.

November 26 items returned
Angel Tree tags will be available beginning November 4.  Gift donations should be returned by November 26.
Missionaries of the Poor (MOP) November 25 Provide a lunch time meal for the poor in Monroe, NC.  Volunteers and food are needed.


Catholic Charities Food Pantry Collection is a year-round collection of non-perishable food items.  Donations can be placed in the wooden bin in the Church Narthex, and are collected weekly and taken to the Food Pantry at the Diocese of Charlotte.
